A word to the wise sports bettor,
SHOP YOUR LINES BOY'S! Tony George here and I can assure
you
that the vast majority of you are losing 5 to 10 units
a MONTH by not having more than one outlet to shop your
lines. Plain and simple.
I see numerous posts on the Internet and
right here at this site about a 3 game card that was
posted a winner
at 2-1 ATS, when in fact you may have went 1-2 ATS.
I feel bad when that happen's, and in the old days
it use to happen to me occasionally, BUT you have
every opportunity to INCREASE your odds of winning by
having
2 to 3 outlets to shop your lines around at. How
many guys still use a local book? YOUR NUTS! First of
all
it is illegal, and second of all these guys manipulate
lines so bad it is insane, especially if you are
from a big city and like the local team, I ASSURE you
that
you are paying a premium for points if you are laying
a number. Why would you do that? Do you not like
money? Do you want some local guy driving a BMW while
you
are driving a broken down Ford Taurus?
There are MANY options with offshore books.
Lets say one book has a game at -2.5 and another has
it at 4.
You are laying a play at -2.5, they win by 3 and
you cover. If you have the book that was at -4 you lose.
How many times do you lose a game by a half a point
or one point, during a months time? Numerous, as
Hoops
lines are sharp and especially in games under 5 points.
Why not have the outlet opportunities to shop for
the best lines? It WILL MAKE YOU MONEY. I can assure
you
that a $100 player can gain $500 a month with a
58% win percentage simply by shopping lines and betting
early. Fact and not fiction.
Baseball is upcoming, and
why play with a book that has 20 cent lines when other
book has 15 cent or even
dime lines available, say up to 150 on the money line?
I would love to have 5% or 10% of YOUR bankroll in
MY pocket, send it on over boy's, because that is what you
are doing if you do not shop for legit offshore, legal
books that have those types of money lines. Baseball
is easy to win money at, I have been ranked #1 in the
regular season the last 2 years and make 65% of my
bankroll each year in baseball. Why do books want a money line
at 12/10 odds versus 11/10 odds? Because sharp players
KILL them in baseball, ask anyone in Vegas who runs
or has run a book there! Why leave money on the table, even
if you are winning?
Maximize your profits and minimize your losses
with pointspread opportunities through line value. It
requires extra
time, but it is worth the money, and a smart player
does so each day.
