Isle Of Man-based online gambling software provider Microgaming has announced a deal with land-based casino and betting operator BalkanBet Limited that will see its online property at BalkanBet.com added to the Microgaming Poker Network.

Leading online poker sites including 32RedPoker.com, SpinPalacePoker.com and PokerTime.eu already utilise the Microgaming Poker Network with the provider stating that BalkanBet.com’s move ‘will serve to expand its online offering and capitalise further on the significant growth potential that the Balkan gaming market provide’.

This announcement comes hot on the heels of Microgaming introducing a number of innovative changes to its poker offering including the adoption of the ‘weighted contribution’ system of rake calculation alongside alterations to its multi-table tournament schedule and the introduction of measures designed to prevent data mining.
