Stockholm-based Jadestone Networks has announced that Finland’s Alands Penningautomatforening (PAF) gambling monopoly would be one of a limited number of launch partners for its DiceArena multiplayer skill games network.

Due to launch later this quarter, DiceArena has been labelled as both a serious competitor and an attractive complement to online poker. It consists of a range of multiplayer dice games aimed at a broad audience of existing, lapsed and latent virtual players.

Built on a next-generation technical platform, Jadestone stated that DiceArena would hit the market featuring exciting games and inviting community features. Primarily targeting Scandinavia before moving on to other markets, Jadestone revealed that it would be promoting the launch with a multi-channel marketing campaign featuring television and online components.

PAF operates a legal gambling monopoly on the Aland Islands off the southwest coast of Finland alongside casino operations on cruise ships and an online component. Its purpose is to raise funds for social causes on the Islands and it also has subsideraries in Sweden and Estonia.
