Leading British mobile engagement services supplier Mkodo has announced that it has been selected by BSkyB’s online sportsbetting site at SkyBet.com to implement a next-generation mobile Internet betting site.

The new site is scheduled to launch later this month and will extend SkyBet.com’s current online, interactive television and telephone betting services. BSkyB revealed that the service had been designed to offer customers the information and functionality required in order to place bets anytime and anywhere they wish.

“We are keen to allow our customers to interact with our services in the way which is most convenient and enjoyable for them,” said Pritpal Bains, Senior Product Manager for SkyBet.com.
