ArticleA Winning Attitude | Sports Betting Articles

   By Ken Anglund

Winning becomes a habit whether it's on the field or off the field. I've read about numbers such as 90% is attitude and 10% is putting your thought in motion.

In golf Tiger Woods has played a game of domination on the PGA Tour. In several tournaments Tigers has opened with a sub-par performance only to rally to content for the top spot or win the tournament. That part of his game is the attitude that he can win. Many times we have watched a golfer that is experiencing uncharted territory as a leader on the PGA Tour only to surrender the lead to a more experienced player. This golfer hasn't developed the attitude that he can compete with these top caliber players. That first win on the PGA Tour is the toughest. Once crossing that hurdle the second win becomes easier.

In baseball the Yankees and Braves seem to be the teams to beat. The Mariners and Red Sox are developing a habit of winning. Yes, these teams are talented but they find a way to win in late innings with some timely hitting or a solid performance from a bullpen pitcher. Again, winning becomes a habit with a positive attitude. The Mariners and Red Sox have posted an impressive W/L record on the road thus far this season (Mariners 33-19; Red Sox 36-20). These teams have the attitude they can beat any team on the road.

A positive attitude in life can be achieved. However, it mirrors anything else. It takes a true belief that you can achieve that level and practice, practice, practice.
