    Sic Bo Strategy
Sic Bo is an exciting dice game which involves betting on the combinations of three dice that are spun by the dealer. Based on an ancient Chinese dice game, Sic Bo (meaning "dice pair") is hugely popular amongst the Asian community and enjoyed online by millions of players around the world.

Sic Bo is basically a game of pure luck – you simply place your bet and hope for the best, similar to a game like Roulette. For this reason it is mostly enjoyed purely for fun rather than profit – there aren't too many professional Sic Bo players! However the best way to have fun is to extend your game play so here are some simple Sic Bo strategy tips that you can use to improve your chances of success at the table.

There are a range of betting options and payouts to choose from when playing Sic Bo. Some offer very large payouts, and this is one of the attractions of the game, however some bets will offer the player better odds than other bets.

Remember that like Roulette, there are no betting systems that you can use that will remove the house advantage completely. Gambling systems do not work. All casino games favor the house, even if only slightly, so all you can do is look to employ the best bets that will give the house the smallest edge possible, and in turn will provide you with your best chance of success.

The best bet at the Sic Bo table is to bet on either SMALL or BIG. The SMALL bet covers a total score of 4 to 10, while the BIG bet is a total score of 11 to 17. Both of these bets pay odds of 1-1, which gives the house an edge of only 2.76%. Although this edge isn't tiny, it's still small enough to give you a good chance of winning.

Always check the pay table before you place any Sic Bo bets to ensure you are getting appropriate payouts for each bet. Most online casinos will be the same, but if you are playing Sic Bo in a live casino then you may find some unique house rules or payouts that you should be aware of. If the payouts are not consistent with the online payouts then you should definitely avoid these bets.

As fun as it can be to bet on an underdog and watch it win, it's not an optimal strategy when playing at a casino. If you want to extend your game play then avoid such high risk bets. For example betting on a 4, 5, 16, 17 or Triple in Sic Bo offers a large payout, but these bets also have the largest house edge.

Sic Bo may look confusing but in reality it is very simple to learn so anyone can play and have some fun. Give yourself the best chance of extending your game play by betting smart on low risk bets and you'll be better off in the long run.
