Online gambling operator GlobetVIP has announced a software licensing deal with Australian Internet turnkey provider BEToptions for use of its fixed-odds betting solutions.

GlobetVIP previously utilised software from Orbis but began operating with software from BEToptions earlier this month.

'Established in the mid 1990s and established as a one of Europe's leading bookmakers, we at GlobetVIP carefully evaluated a number of sportsbook software systems prior to deciding on the BEToptions platform,' said Gregg Rathbone of GlobetVIP.

'We believe BEToptions gives us the ability and flexibility to successfully offer first-class sports wagering services to our customers. We wanted a scalable, robust system that would deliver fixed-odds betting while utilising integrated Internet, telephone and retail channels. BEToptions satisfies all our needs.'

In addition to the new software, the Gibraltar-based firm stated that it was in the process of making GlobetSport.com the Internet portal for its entire portfolio of products.
